I spent a month with an international civil engineering company on a work placement as Undergraduate 3D Visualiser. The position involved creating 3D visuals to client specifications on live projects and for bids. This work was a portfolio entry for use in bids with house builders. The walls etc were imported from the CAD plan and then built up and modelled in 3DS Max.
